By using Proge, you agree to these Terms of Use. The Privacy Policy separately explains how your personal data is processed. Acknowledging that you have read the Privacy Policy does not constitute general consent to the processing of personal data.
Age requirements
Users under the age of 16 may not use Proge.
Users aged 16–17 may use Proge’s training features and other features made available to them. They are not provided with Proge’s nutrition features, weight tracking, or AI Coach personalisation that uses health data.
Users aged 18 or over may also use nutrition, weight tracking, and AI Coach features made available to them.
If you are under 18, we recommend discussing your use of Proge with your parent or guardian.
User accounts
You are responsible for providing reasonably accurate information where the accuracy of that information affects content generated by Proge, such as your training programme or other personalised features.
You may not use another person’s account without appropriate permission or attempt to circumvent Proge’s usage, age, safety, or other technical restrictions.
If you suspect unauthorised use of your account, contact info@proge.app.
Training
Training content generated by Proge is intended as a general personalised coaching and training tool. It is not a medical examination, diagnosis, physiotherapy assessment, or individual healthcare treatment recommendation.
Exercise always involves a risk of injury or other harm. Users should take account of their own health, physical capability, training environment, and safe exercise technique.
If you have an illness, injury, severe or unusual pain, or another condition that may affect safe exercise, appropriate healthcare advice may be needed before beginning or continuing training.
Nutrition and weight tracking
Proge’s meal plans and nutrition calculations are based on information supplied by the user and Proge’s own calculation and generation logic. They are intended to support general wellbeing and training.
Proge does not provide medical nutrition therapy and does not replace treatment or guidance provided by a doctor, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare professional.
If a user has a medical condition, a diagnosed eating disorder, significant dietary restrictions, or another health-related situation that could be materially affected by changes in nutrition, the user should seek appropriate professional advice where necessary.
AI Coach
AI Coach generates responses automatically based on the user’s question and the Proge context that is permitted and relevant to that question.
AI Coach responses are generated by artificial intelligence. They may contain errors, inaccuracies, or information that is unsuitable for the user’s individual circumstances. Users should exercise their own judgement and should not make important health or safety decisions solely on the basis of an AI Coach response.
AI Coach is not a doctor, physiotherapist, dietitian, or other healthcare professional, and its responses should not be treated as diagnoses or healthcare treatment decisions.
Proge may limit AI Coach topics, usage amounts, available user context, or other functionality for reasons including safety, privacy, technical reliability, or cost control.
A user aged 18 or over may choose to enable the processing of health data in AI Coach.
Such processing is based on separate explicit consent. Consent is voluntary and is not required for other use of Proge.
The user may withdraw consent later. After withdrawal, Proge will not use new health data for AI Coach personalisation based on health data. The effects of withdrawal on personal data processing are described in more detail in the Privacy Policy.
Health-data-based AI Coach personalisation is not offered to users aged 16–17.
Proge Premium and paid subscriptions
In Finland, the monthly subscription costs EUR 12.99 per month and the annual subscription costs EUR 99.99 per year, including applicable taxes. Before purchase confirmation, Google Play displays the final applicable price, currency, billing period and any offers. Prices may differ by country, currency and tax treatment.
On Android, subscriptions are purchased and paid for through Google Play, which processes the payment. IceDev Oy remains responsible for providing the Proge service in accordance with applicable law.
Free trial
Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to the selected paid plan. The trial duration, first charge date and post-trial price are displayed before confirmation.
Automatic renewal and cancellation
Users can cancel subscriptions through Google Play subscription management: https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
Cancellation stops future renewals. Paid access generally remains available until the end of the current paid period, unless a refund or revocation changes entitlement. Canceling during a free trial prevents conversion to a paid subscription.
Uninstalling Proge, signing out, or deleting a Proge account does not automatically cancel the Google Play subscription. Users must cancel it separately through Google Play if they do not want it to continue.
Refunds and consumer rights
Statutory withdrawal rights for digital services may be subject to legal conditions and exceptions. Any loss of a withdrawal right requires compliance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights, including remedies for defective services.
Premium entitlement
When a subscription expires, is refunded, or is revoked, access may be restricted in accordance with the actual entitlement state. Temporary verification failures are handled under the app's entitlement rules.
IceDev Oy may grant promotional, testing, or other free Premium access subject to defined terms. Such access does not itself create an automatically renewing paid subscription.
Permitted use
Users must not, for example:
- use the service unlawfully;
- attempt to bypass, compromise, or interfere with Proge’s security or usage restrictions;
- use automated methods to overload or abuse the service without permission;
- attempt to gain access to another user’s data;
- use Proge in a way that threatens the security of the service or other users.
Proge may take reasonable measures to prevent misuse.
Intellectual property
The user is granted a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use Proge in accordance with these Terms of Use.
This right of use does not transfer any intellectual property rights in Proge to the user.
Third-party content, trademarks, and services remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective owners.
Third-party services
Proge may also contain links to or integrations with third-party content, such as exercise videos.
When accessing a third-party service, that provider’s own terms of use and privacy practices may apply.
The processing of personal data by such services is described in more detail in Proge’s Privacy Policy.
Changes and availability
Proge may change the service’s features and technical implementation and may fix, add, or remove features.
Access to the service may be temporarily interrupted, for example due to maintenance, a security issue, a technical fault, or another justified reason.
If a change materially affects a user’s rights or the processing of personal data, the user will be provided with the information required by applicable law and, where necessary, a new acceptance or consent will be requested.
Account deletion
If the user can no longer access the application, deletion of the account and associated data may also be requested through the deletion channel published on the Proge website.
When an account is deleted, the active Proge account and associated user-specific data are removed in accordance with Proge’s deletion process. Certain limited data may nevertheless be retained where required by law or where another valid legal basis applies.
Account deletion and data retention are described in more detail in the Privacy Policy and on Proge’s account deletion page.
Restriction or termination of access
Liability
Users are responsible for their own training and other actions and for how they apply content provided by Proge in practice.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by applicable mandatory law.
These Terms do not limit any mandatory consumer rights available to the user under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
If a change is material to the user, Proge will provide appropriate notice.
Where a new version of the Terms requires acceptance, Proge will request acceptance before applying the new version to the user to the extent required.
Governing law and disputes
If the user is a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive the user of mandatory protections available under the consumer law of the user’s country of residence.
Any disputes should first be attempted to be resolved through discussion.
Consumers also retain access to courts and other remedies available under applicable law.
