Proge – Account and Data Deletion

Effective from: 6 October 2026

Deleting your Proge account

You can delete your Proge account directly in the Proge application.

Open:

Settings → Data and account → Delete account

For security reasons, account deletion may require re-authentication before the deletion can be completed.

Once deletion is successfully initiated and completed, Proge’s active deletion process removes your user account and the associated user-specific data as described below.

If you can no longer access the Proge application

If you cannot access the application or cannot use the in-app account deletion function, you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by email:

info@proge.app

State in your message that you want to delete your Proge account and the associated data.

We may request reasonable additional information to identify the account and verify that the deletion request concerns the correct user account.

You do not need to reinstall the Proge application in order to submit an account deletion request by email.

What is deleted when your account is deleted?

Proge’s account deletion process is intended to remove active Proge data associated with the user, including:

Canceling a Google Play subscription

Deleting your Proge account or uninstalling the app does not cancel an existing Google Play subscription. If you do not want the subscription to renew, cancel it separately through Google Play subscription management before deleting your account.

Uninstalling the application does not delete your account

Simply uninstalling the Proge application from your device is not the same as deleting your Proge account.

The device operating system may remove local application data when the application is uninstalled, but your Proge user account and user-specific cloud data may continue to exist.

If you want to delete your Proge account, use the in-app account deletion function or send a deletion request to info@proge.app.

What data may be retained after account deletion?

Deleting an account does not necessarily mean that every piece of information ever associated with the user disappears immediately from every technical system.

Limited data may be retained after account deletion only where there is an appropriate legal or technically justified reason, for example:

Such data is not used to continue the normal user account or for marketing purposes.

Data remaining in a service provider’s technical backups may be deleted according to that provider’s normal backup cycle. Proge does not promise an exact backup deletion timeframe where such a timeframe cannot be reliably confirmed from the provider’s applicable terms.

AI Coach-related data

Limited AI Coach conversation history is stored locally on the user’s device on a user-specific basis and normally expires after 12 hours of inactivity.

When the account is deleted, local AI Coach conversation history is removed together with the user-specific local data.

Proge may also retain limited technical metadata relating to AI Coach requests as described in the Privacy Policy. The user’s actual AI Coach message or AI Coach response is not normally stored in this technical metadata.

Personally linkable technical AI request metadata is normally retained for 90 days. After that, the metadata becomes eligible for deletion through automated retention management; technical deletion may occur with a delay. Data may exceptionally be retained for longer where necessary, for example, for an ongoing security investigation, abuse incident, or legal claim.

Any data that may remain in OpenAI’s own systems is subject to OpenAI’s retention practices as a service provider, which are described in more detail in Proge’s Privacy Policy.

Account deletion and data protection rights

Deleting an account is different from making a request concerning an individual data protection right.
